SDNY COURTHOUSE, Sept 18 -- For scam crypto currency OneCoin, on September 12, 2023 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Ramos sentenced co-founder Sebastian Greenwood to twenty years in prison. Inner City Press was there and live tweeted, thread here.
On September 18, Judge Ramos denied convicted OneCoin money launderer Mark Scott's motions for a new trial. Scott had argued he had not been aware, and that founder Ruja Ignatova's brother Konstanin Ignatov had lied in his testimony at trial, which Inner City Press also live tweeted.
