LITERARY UN GATE, May 2 -- After sucking up to Putin and bringing missiles on Kyev, where next? Why, to Niger, of course.
From a UN castle of gentification in Dakar now on board of UN jet to Niger. Big Tony Guterres was living the high life, and playing it of as a sacrifice.
It was so easy, to have Melissa Fleming even with COVID put these video package out then watch Al Jazeera re-run them with a voiceover: Now Guterres was calling out the coup leaders.
What a joke. Guterres supported octogenarians like Paul Biya in Cameroon, and others who had come to power via coup.
It was better, of course, to steal or simply make inpossible an election, as Tony had done for his second term, by disqualifying all opponents. Spokesman Stephane Dujarric had insisted that the Charter required it. And after the day, the press corpse asked no more.
Kurt watched the Niger landing, and wrote a piece about the country having killed 136 civilians. The "new" president Mohamed Bazoum was supported by a billionaire, Dahiru Mangal. Video here.
Maybe Tony could get a piece of that action.
The white UN plane would never be searched. Who knew what it would leave Niger with?
