SDNY COURTHOUSE, May 13 – Julius Csurgo was sued by the SEC for pumping and dumping penny stocks. Then he was put in jail.

On April 26, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Lewis J. Liman held a proceeding in the SEC's civil case. Inner City Press covered it.

The lawyer who called in for Csuris is not admitted in the SDNY, and had not filed a notice of appearance or pro hac vice request.

Judge Liman said he would permit him to speak for now. The TRO was extended to May 13.

On May 13, Csurgo called in for himself and faced a buzzsaw. The SEC asked for a preliminary injunction. Csurgo asked for five more days to find counsel. This was denied.
