UN GATE, Oct 10 – The UN system is failing on Ukraine and Gaza, the Uighurs and Cameroon. And while it's mostly the fault of SG Antonio Guterres, his drab appointee as human rights designee Volker Turk is also to blame. And not ready for prime time --
Not only has Volker Turk colluded in Guterres' banning of Inner City Press without due process, now he can't even handle being on UNTV, instead hiding out with the UN Correspondents Association, on whose Executive Committee China state media has a permanent seat, and Iran's IRIB is a member.
