UN GATE, Oct 23 – In Mali when protesters were teargassed and at least two killed, there was not a word from the Security Council or even for usually robo-tweeting UNSG Antonio Guterres, Big Tony G. Maybe Guterres' silence is because he is cheering on the arrest of journalists, including Liberté TV journalist Hawa Kamissoko, after he and Stephane Dujarric has Inner City Press roughed up and banned since, video here. Guterres' UN is corrupt.
Now the UN Mission is being thrown out of Mali.
And now they waste money destroying vehicles: "Before its departure, MINUSMA had to take the difficult decision to destroy, deactivate or decommission valuable equipment, such as vehicles, ammunition, generators and other assets, because they could not be returned to the troop-contributing countries to which they belonged or redeployed to other UN peacekeeping missions." This is Guterres' UN - a wasteful failure to bans the Press that exposes it.
