UN GATE, Oct 21 – Brazil took over the UN Security Council presidency on October 1, 2023 - while Inner City Press is still banned from the UN, despite its June 19 application.

On October 7 amid Gaza - Israel, Inner City Press heard that Brazil claimed it has taking the lead to schedule a Sunday UNSC meeting. On October 17 despite UNSC and UN censorship, Inner City Press reported on Brazil's doomed draft.
And on October 18, as predicted, it failed, with the US vetoing, and Russia and the UK abstaining.
Now on October 21, on a US draft that seems sure to fail, the UAE for the Arab Group has shot back, Inner City Press is publishing this from the UAE on X here including that "the mention of Article 51 of the United Nations Charter (the paragraph that gives states The right to self-defense when exposed to aggression) in the fourth procedural paragraph creates legal and political problems regarding Gaza" and, as Guterres preens at the Rafah crossing, that "the amount of importance given to delivering minimal aid through the Rafah crossing on October 21 is dangerous and gives the impression that aid is flowing, while this aid constitutes only a drop in an ocean of needs."
