SDNY COURTHOUSE, March 22 – People who were ousted from City Hall Park in lower Manhattan on July 22, 2020 have sued the City of New York.

OK - now a proceeding about the "military style operation" to clear NYC City Hall Park on 7/22/20 amid the George Floyd & NYPD budget protests.
It's before Judge Liman who has tomorrow off in the Larry Ray trial.
The complaint says police rousted protesters with no time to gather their belongings. The causes of action include conversion and "trespass to chattel."
Former Mayor Bill De Blasio is sued by name, as it Sanitation Commissioner Ed Grayson.
Judge Liman: Is there any prospect for settlement?
