The answers came quick: Citibank. HSBC. Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group. Kurt stopped there for now, as he was preparing to testify to the Federal Reserve, if only by WebEx, about MUFG's proposed sell-out to US Bancorp.
Online he found a MUFG podcast, of all things, that advised how to arbitrage the bloodshed. It was like what UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres was doing, trying ot use a human tragedy for others as a way to keep the money flowing to himself, but it was done out in the open and unlike at the UN, Kurt was not banned. He decided to focus on it.
And so it was a day of all things Federal Reserve. In the morning an oral argument before SDNY Judge Lewis Liman, in which long time Fed staffers tried to avoid getting fired for not being vaccinated even as NYC Mayor Eric Adams that day ended masking requirements everywhere but the subways and for under five year olds in schools.
The Federal Reserve Bank of New York's lawyers bragged that the New York Fed is not a government agency and so no Constitutional arguments, or rights, should be considered. But if the Federal Reserve Banks weren't government agency but instead owned by the banks themselves, why were they allowed to approve bank mergers, like that of Berkshre Bank and its Needs to Improve rating in New York under the Community Reinvestment Act?
Kurt added it into his testimony, after the Russia Ukraine hypocrisy. He would have only three minutes.
Hours later Judge Liman held a final final pre-trial conference in the case of Sarah Lawrence College sex cultist Larry Ray, who was present with his shaved head and two Marshals. One of the arguments involved him suffocating a young woman with a plastic bag. What had been her major?
The tabloid would be covering the Ray case and so, it seemed, should Kurt, alongside the hearing on Ghislaine Maxwell's rogue juror Scotty David. The US Attorney at the eleventh hour gave old Scotty, name redacted, immunity. Impunity like for the UN, which gave Ghislaine Maxwell as press conference. #MaximumMaxwell.
Roger Ng's lawyers were still hammering away at Tim Leissner - a faint echo of the bombing of Kharkiv - and the UAE as UN Security Council president was still refusing ot answer about its role in ripping off the Malaysia people for money some of which the UN still kept, and of illegally intervening in US democracy by paying Tom Barrack. #TheWeaselsOfWallStreet. They had become plural.
