SDNY COURTHOUSE, Feb 10 – Franklyn Then was arrested on September 24, 2023 accused of shooting a bullet through the floor of his apartment into the apartment below (the occupants called the police).
On February 9, 2024, Then was arraigned before U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Jed S. Rakoff, whose courtroom Inner City Press was covering.
The initial charging document had a photo of the handgun at issue, and bullets. The charge is felon in possession. Judge Rakoff said any motions are due April 5, with a pre-trial conference set for April 10.
The case is US v. Then, 24-cr-73 (Rakoff)
