SDNY COURTHOUSE, June 16 – Michael Cohen applied for the third time to reduce his term of Supervised Release.

On June 16, U.S. District Court of for the Southern District of New York District Judge Jesse M. Furman, to whom Cohen's criminal case was reassigned, denied the request.

Judge Furman wrote that statements "from Defendant's book and TV appearances suggest that a reduction of Defendant's supervised release term woudl not serve the purposes of... deterrence, rehabilitation or proportionality."

On MSNBC on March 20, 2023, Cohen said "there was no fraud in the medallions, I don't even know what he's talking about."

The night before Judge Furman's order, as first covered by Inner City Press, Donald Trump's lawyer filed copies of Cohen's e-mails in Trump's attempt to remove the Alvin Bragg state case to SDNY.

Cohen's criminal case is US v. Cohen, 18-cr-602 (Furman)
