decrepit has the UN system
become under Antonio Guterres,
in this case due to Guterres?
Today's example is again from
the Office of the High
Commission for Human Rights,
to which Guterres appointed
his unqualified crony Volker
Turk more than two years ago.
From OHCHR
staff - "Dear Matthew Russell
Lee, Many thanks for exposing
corruption in the UN... Volker Turk,
after four years, has proven
to be guided by a personal
agenda rather than by
principles . His only goal
was to be renewed as High
Commissioner for another four
years term (something
unprecedented) before Guterres
leaves. [IF he leaves:
what if the (s)election is
deadlocked at year's
end?] He has turned
OHCHR into a financial ruin
and the laughing stock of the
human rights community. It is
shocking how little member
states care or maybe it is
convenient for them to have a
weak High Commissioner rather
than a proper one. Please help
us to expose the truth and to
save OHCHR before it is
destroyed by Turk’s
appeasement. Will Amb
Waltz and Amb Steggerda hold
SG candidates accountable and
force them to seriously look
into OHCHR mismanagement? For now, doesn't
look like it. Inner City Press

despite July 25, 2026
application, and its questions
are not being answered...
