SDNY COURTHOUSE, Jan 10 – Michael Jordan's restaurant in Grand Central Station, backed when it was opened, was robbed of "a substantial sum on money" on March 28, 2018.

Then its insurer Admiralty Indemnity Company refused to pay. It sued.

On January 8, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

Judge Hellerstein chided the parties for slow discovery. He said, convert a purported expert into a fact witness and depose him.

He quoted the old saw or chestnut, the money sticks to people sands. He said he would not sign any subpoena to the D.A.'s office - "do you own work."

Now all discovery must end by March 12, for another conference on March 19.

The case is AGGC Management LLC et al v. Admiral Indemnity Company, 19-cv-10580 (Hellerstein)
