In Corrupt UN World of Guterres ITU Lawfare Detailed by Whistleblowers to Inner City Press

by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack

UN GATE, Oct 6 – How corrupt is the UN-world system under Antonio Guterres, who bans the Press which investigates? Today's example is from the ITU, the International Telecommunication Union, whose whistleblowers have, like others, reached out to banned Inner City Press:

"Lawfare in the ITU / Pattern of Abuse of Authority by the ITU Secretary-General (Doreen Bogdan-Martin or DBM) / Cover-up of complaints or investigations against her, despite being "founded" or "substantiated"

At present, there seems to be a lawless "no man's land" in ITU.  There are concerns of a cover-up of a number of serious cases against the Secretary-General, who does whatever she wants as the checks-and-balances are corrupted in covering-up her behavior.  How many open cases are there against her - this is a question the Governing Body (the Council) should need to know.  1.  Anonymous Complaint from April 2024.   There was an Anonymous Complaint against DBM ...

It was sent to a number of Missions in Geneva and has been circulating amongst them.  One of the Missions shared it with DBM, who then had to go through the "ceremony" of having it assessed.  It contained many allegations against her which are very serious, ranging from cronyism, to questionable movement of funds and expenses, to abuse of staff and creating a toxic work environment.  She announced at an ITU Town Hall that the allegations against her were "unfounded" and closed.  There is suspicion that there is a cover-up - so common in UN World under Guterres. A fish rots from the head.

The "assessment report" has never been disclosed - does it *really* say that the allegations are unfounded?   Per the ITU Regulations and Rules for Elected Officials, the "case" must be submitted to the ITU Governing Body (the Council) - this hasn't been done." We'll have more, including the complaint, on this.
