by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Oct 15 – Michael Brackett is facing trial on fraud charges related to his defunct tech company Centricity.

Now he wants permission to go back to Switzerland pending his US trial before U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge John G. Koeltl. Inner City Press is covering the case.

The US Attorney's Office points out that Brackett was convicted of drunk driving in Maine and never returned to serve his jail time.

Brackett says he is now the principal of a digital trading firm and needs to be in Switzerland for that.

The case is US v. Brackett, 23-cr-392 (Koeltl)
