SDNY COURTHOUSE, August 4 – A Bronx woman referred to as Jane Doe has sued Big Daddy's at 239 Park Avenue in Manhattan for sexual harassment.

On August 4, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge John P. Cronan held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

Judge Cronan asked the basis of referring to the plaintiff as Jane Doe. Her lawyer cited the cases of Harvey Weinstein and even Jeffrey Epstein. The defense replied those were "series" predators.

Judge Cronan requested briefing specifically on this issue.

The case is Doe v. 239 Park Avenue South Associates, LLC et al., 21-cv-279 (Cronan)
