SDNY COURTHOUSE, Jan 20 – Daly Arias has sued for getting food poisoning at a Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurant in The Bronx.
On January 20, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge P. Kevin Castel held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.
Arias' lawyer described surgeries caused by food poisoning. The complaint says Chipotle and its parent were "reckless, negligent and careless in the ownership, operation, management and control of the premises, in that the defendant failed to inspect the food before serving the food to the patrons."
The next conference is on June 8.
The case is Arias v. Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc., 20-cv-9723 (Castel)
