SDNY COURTHOUSE, July 29 – At 4:30 pm on September 16 Inner City Press was told by its SDNY source to expect "the big one" - Sean Combs - the next day in an SDNY courtroom.

On July 2 the jury came back with not guilty on RICO and sex trafficking, guilty on counts 3 and 5, transportation for prostitution. Combs' lawyer Agnifilo argued for release on bail but was denied, with a hearing on expedited sentencing on July 8.
But on July 8 Agnifilo's second letter reaffirmed October 3 for sentencing - with US summary of offense conduct due on July 11 - but not docketed as of July 29.
