EDNY COURTHOUSE, Jan 21 – A week after three women were arrested for having assaulted a Delta airlines employee and were presented before U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York Magistrate Judge Vera M. Scalon, another Delta / JFK indictment has been unsealed.
Inner City Press tweeted: EDNY today, indictment unsealed on Shane McInerney, flying into JFK Airport from Ireland, who threw a beverage can hitting a passenger's head, pulled down his pants & underwear and mooned a flight attendant; refused to wear a mask and put his cap on pilot's head.
It's said McInerney was headed to Florida to take a job teaching soccer at an academy in Daytona. He's a resident of Galway, Ireland and now out on a $20,000 bond. Inner City Press: But was there consular notification?
While on the plane, he allegedly went up into "Delta One" & complained via moon about the food in Economy Class.
The case is US v. McInerney, 22-mj-22 (RLM). Inner City Press has put the affidavit / Complaint on its DocumentCloud, here.
On January 13 Inner City Press live tweeted here:
now detention proceeding is US v. Jordan Nixon, Janessa Torres & Johara Zavala for assaulting a Delta security officer in a jetway at JFK Airport on Sept 22," one possibly intoxicated, & another refusing a mask."
Assistant US Attorney tells EDNY Magistrate Judge Scanlon that between "9:00 a.m. and the flight’s scheduled departure at 12:55 p.m., the three defendants ordered approximately nine alcoholic beverages."
"Nixon began to tap on Employee-2’s head and removed his radio. Nixon then struck Employee-2 repeatedly with his radio as he struggled unsuccessfully to regain control. When Employee-1 tried to intervene to assist him, Zavala punched Employee-1 in the face"
NOTE: it was just said in open court, to get free lawyer, that Johara Zavala owes $10,000 in credit card debt, owns a cars and had extra $593 a month. This while sex abusing dirty doc Cruciani has finances sealed, Press request to unseal not yet docketed
These three Delta-assaulting defendants are all being released on bond, "no contact with air-carrier employee."
Now it's said Ms. Torres wants to fly to Florida with her boyfriend. Assistant US Attorney opposes it. Defense lawyer says the three were alleged to be intoxicated, one of the co-defendants was (and is) Torres' mother, & she would lose $25,000 if she did it again
Pre-trial services says it has no problem with Ms. Torres flying to Florida. Judge Scanlon approves it and adjourns the proceeding.
The case charges Jordan Nixon, Janessa Torres and Johara Zavala with assaulting an airline security officer in a jetway at John F. Kennedy International Airport (“JFK Airport”) on September 22, 2021. The charges were dismissed in state court in Queens.
