SDNY COURTHOUSE, Oct 3 – TrackThings has sued Netgear for alleged violating a patent on a method to improve an ad-hoc wireless network.

On October 1 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Katherine Polk Failla held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

Netgear says venue is improper, and wants the case transferred to the Northern District of California.

It says its four worker in New York work from home, and did so even before COVID. So they say there's no venue.

The case is Trackthings LLC v. Netgear, Inc., 21-cv-5440 (Failla)
