UNSG Candidate Grossi Supported by Sock Puppet on X As DRC Bans Press from Q&A

NEW YORK, July 10 – With the UN moving such as it does - behind closed doors, public be damned - in 2026 to pick a new Secretary General, as its last one Antonio Guterres fails on Ukraine, Gaza and basic transparency, a new book has been published.  It is "United Nations Betrayals (see below)

Now on July 10, the PR of DR Congo Zenon Mukongo, whose Mission banned the Press from its program of work press conference, whispered to UN insiders at the UNSC stakeout that under his presidency the Security Council conducted three secret interviews with one to come on July 27, of "Spinizo" as he called her. [Espinoza].

He said the first straw poll is July 30.

Interviewed on July 7 - whether Mike Waltz was there or not is not known, he is virtual signalizing from Haiti (where the UN brought cholera and cited immunity) - were Macky Sall and Rafael Grossi.

On July 10 Inner City Press asked the IAEA, and Guterres and his spokespeople Dujarric, Haq and Fleming, questions including:

"Immediately state the UN's knowledge of, position and action on, the robotic pro-Grossi X account @tammiterel and whether any UN system funds are being used for this or other (anonymous, pseudonymous) campaigning for Next SG More generally, given the SG's public statement about online disinformation, what rules apply to UN system staff campaigning for Next SG candidates, particularly anonymously or pseudonymously?"

No answer - corrupt.

The https://x.com/tammiterel account on May 10 self-replied, "Rafael Grossi didn’t just talk about multilateralism  he made it operational.."

Then: "Rebeca Grynspan is respected in development diplomacy, but she has never managed global security crises. M.Bachelet left the UN Human Rights office under heavy criticism after her Xinjiang visit.Macky Sall left Senegal amid deadly unrest and accusations of democratic backsliding." And so forth.

Note that Grossi has refused to answer the questionnaire from the Free UN Coalition for Access including about press access to the UN, and that Amina J. Mohammed has been complicit in Guterres Press ban throughout. We'll have more on all this.

"United Nations Betrayals: From Election Stolen by Guterres to Bribes and Banning of the Press"is by Matthew Russell Lee (who quickly discloses that he has been ousted and banned from the UN by Guterres, for his reporting).

A noted by New York Magazine on Lee's Maximum Maxwell book, at times here he uses the character Kurt Wheelock, who first appeared in his Predatory Bender.

The book begins with Guterres beating out female candidates for the UNSG post, after a murky year being paid by Lisbon-based Gulbenkian Foundation. The book digs into the bid by the China Energy Fund Committee, convicted of UN bribery, for Gulbenkian's oil company. Readers can draw their own conclusion, including on the need for SG campaign finance disclosure in 2026.

Part of the book in italics delves into the UN Correspondents Association and its efforts to throw Lee out. They appear again in the afterword / novella, "Whacking Qaddafi," which was first mentioned in the New Yorker magazine's Talk of the Town piece about Lee. It addresses more countries: from India to Pakistan, Guinea to Guinea Bissau.

The main text addresses UN failures in Sri Lanka - including the UNCA connection - Cameroon, Western Sahara, Syria, North Korea, Sudan, Gaza and elsewhere. UN Betrayals indeed - this should be the first of a series.
