Man Arrested with 2000 Pounds of Marijuana Ghost Gun and Ferrari Is Freed on $250000 Bond by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack SDNY COURTHOUSE, Aug 27 – A young man who came to the US from France in 2008 and was arrested with two kilos of cocaine, 2000 pounds of marijuana and a ghost gun was the subject of a bail fight on August 27  in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Magistrates Court. Inner City Press was there, the only media in the SDNY Mag Court, and live tweeted: AUSA: He told the agents he bought the Ferrari by trading in a Mayback and some cash. Judge: The report tells me he rents out the luxury cars. AUSA: He's been seen driving it personally, back and forth from Manhattan to Brooklyn where he has a warehouse of sorts  AUSA: He had two kilos of cocaine and two thousand pounds of marijuana. He claims he works for a windows company Judge: But how is that risk of flight? That he has money? AUSA: Yes Judge: That's either speculation or common sense. Without a passport, into Canada? Judge: I think the case in close but I am going to release him, on $250,000 unsecured bond. He will live with his father in Queens.
