Judge: You allege a tortious act, but no impact in NY?

Plaintiffs' lawyer: They brought the injuries back.

Judge: I understand you allege Jeffery Epstein sending money from New York - what's your best case on jurisdiction?

Plaintiffs' lawyer: 732 F.3d 161, 2d Circuit, 2013.

Judge: That seems different from Mr. Epstein just payong funds from NY

Defense: The only proof of a $50 million loan from Jeffrey Epstein is an email-

Plaintiffs' lawyer: More than 1 email. And we haven't taken discovery yet...

The case is Doe 1, et al., v. Government of the United States Virgin Islands, et al., 1:23-cv-10301 (Subramanian)
