SDNY COURTHOUSE, June 25 – Edward Mullins, the trash-tweeting President of the NYPD Sergeants Benevolent Association, has sued Commissioner Dermot Shea and the City of New York for threatening to terminate his status as a Sergeant as retaliation for his tweets.

Mullins' complaint, filed after hours on Friday, June 25 into the docket of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York where Inner City Press found and immediately reported it, quotes Ritchie Torres that "The racism, misogyny and homophobia of Ed Mullins gives Real Donald Trump a run for his money."

Mullins also notes his dust ups about Mayor De Blasio's daughter, PPE and responses to protests. He seeks an injunction and attorney's fees.
